Description

 

After Alice was completed the studio switched to F2P gaming. I  lead the level design on two different projects, one being Akaneiro.

The tasks included:



  •  Documentation: Write and maintain design documents such as High Level LD, detailed LD document, Level description sheet, gameplay features requests.
  • Technical Design: Define the levels workflow, describe game features. Work closely with programmers.
  • Prototyping: Iterate on game features, proof test game design rules, make gameplay/level examples.
  • Level Building: Describe level pieces and build the layout out of blocks. Build terrain and path. Integrate the gameplay features and NPCs. Test and balance the levels.
  • Day to day management of other LDs: tasks assignment, follow the levels integration, check the layout/flow/balance.
